Flowers are five-parted, either yellow or white, and the petals may be adorned with wings, fringes, keels or hairs.Species of Nymphoides are sold as aquarium plants, including the Banana plant, ''Nymphoides aquatica|N. aquatica'' and the Water snowflake, ''Nymphoides indica|N. indica''. The tun is an old English unit of wine cask volume, holding about 1 E-1 m?|954 litres, almost a cubic metre. Etymologically it is identical to the ton. Originally, it was a genuine unit of volume and measured 256 gallons, which is the base for the name of the quarter of 64 corn gallons. Its later division into 210 imperial or 252 wine gallons was chosen to be evenly divisible by small integers, including seven:

Body Harvest is like nothing you have played before. The idea is much like Blast Corps N64 and you actually harvest bodies in this game! The stages on each level where quite big and hard to complete. It is highly unique and addictive. Anyway this was the leading N64 I played in the Winter of 1998 by at which stage we where hearing that the old 1994 Playstation 1 was about to undergo a change. There was an important reason why I gave up buying more games on the N64 after the Winter of 1998 or the whole of 1999. I had been playing the N64 since the end of 1996 start of 1997. I got two solid great gaming years out of it, with the following two years spent playing the mutliplayer N64 we loved and owned. It would another few years before I would pick up a games console again.

Inclusion body myositis (IBM) is an inflammation|inflammatory muscle disease, characterized by slowly progressive wasting and weakness of the arms and legs. Two features characterize the sIBM muscle, profound inflammation and protein abnormalities within the muscle cells. The inflammation aspect is similar to polymyositis however, polymyositis does not display many of the abnormal cellular changes seen in sIBM. Additionally, in contrast with polymyositis(PM), sIBM affects men more than women and is resistant to treatment (PM often responds well). Symptoms usually begin after 50 years of age. There is no effective treatment for the disease.Sporadic inclusion body myositis [MY-oh-sigh-tis] (sIBM) is a disease of the muscle cells. The muscle cells somehow become abnormal and the immune system kills them, weakening the muscles. Its name comes form the fact that the muscles in sIBM are characterized by "inclusion bodies" within the cells. sIBM is a rare disease, diagnosed in only! about 5 people per million, although not much research exists on the number of cases and some doctors feel the numbers are much higher. It is more common in men (2 to 3 males to 1 female). sIBM is an age-related disease - as we get older it gets more and more common. It usually appears after the age of 50 and is the most common acquired muscle disorder seen in older people although about 20% of cases display symptoms before the age of 50. Weakness comes on slowly and progresses steadily and may lead to severe weakness and wasting of arm and leg muscles. Patients may become unable to perform daily living activities and be confined to wheelchairs. sIBM is not considered a fatal disorder - all things being equal, sIBM will not kill you (but the risk of serious injury due to falls is increased).

Mycetoma


Mycetoma is an important parasitic disease in arid and semi-arid regions around the globe. It is found in Brazil, Mexico, the Sahel, in pan-Arabia, and in semi-arid areas of India. It is found as far north as Romania. There are two forms of mycetoma. At the level of electron microscopy the two forms of mycetoma are difficult to distinguish from one another. The two forms of mycetoma are bacterial mycetoma and fungal mycetoma. Bacterial mycetoma is known as actinomycetoma. Fungal mycetoma is known as eumycetoma.The disease is usually acquired while performing agriculture|agricultural work. It generally afflicts men between 20 and 40 years old. Most infections appear initially in the foot or hand. The disease is characterized by a yogurt-like discharge upon maturation of the infection. The disease travels via the lymphatic system. Infections normally start in the foot or hand and travel up the leg or up the arm.The disease is acquired by contacting grains of bacter! ial or fungal spores that have been discharged onto the soil. Infection usually involves an open area or break in the skin.Diagnosis of mycetoma is usually accomplished by radiology, ultrasound or by fine needle aspiration of the fluid within an afflicted area of the body.There are several clinical treatments available for this disease. They include surgery, Ketoconazole, Itraconazole and amputation.There is no sure-fire treatment available at this date. Nor is there available at this date a vaccine for mycetoma.Scientists at such institutions as The mycetoma research center|The Mycetoma Research Center at The University of Khartoum in the Sudan are working on a cure.

Spiderwort (''Tradescantia'') is a genus of about 70 species of perennial plants in the family Commelinaceae, native to the New World from southern Canada south to northern Argentina. The sweetest level is doux (meaning sweet), proceeding in order of increas! ing dryness to demi-sec (half-dry), sec (dry), extra sec (extra dry), brut (almost completely dry), and extra brut / brut nature / brut zero (no additional sugar, sometimes ferociously dry.).
